The streams and rivers flowing throughout our area are perfect for canoeing, kayaking or floating on a tube.

Mountain Fork River
Floating and fishing is fantastic on the Mountain Fork River above the lake. Below the Broken Bow Lake Dam, the Mountain Fork turns to white water where the canoeing and fly fishing is outstanding!

Glover River
Nature in its most pristine state is found along the Glover River, Oklahoma's only untamed waterway (meaning no dams block its course). Secluded and uncommercialized, the Glover River is ideal for veteran floaters with knowledge of the local topography and experience with unpredictable waters. When the river is low, rocks, logs and low falls make for a difficult float, and when the river is up, the journey is definitely not for first-timers.

If you prefer not to get wet, float the river that runs through Beavers Bend Resort Park. It is a favorite among those who prefer peaceful passages and beautiful scenery.
